ABC-CLIO is a leading publisher of reference materials for history and social studies, serving academic institutions, secondary schools, and public libraries since 1953. The company is known for its comprehensive catalog spanning fifteen subject areas, delivering high-quality, authoritative content to educators and students. ABC-CLIO sought a new brand identity to reflect its core values and clearly convey solutions across 15 subject areas. Additionally, they needed a corporate sales brochure aligned with the refreshed brand image, centered around the theme “The Pathway to Genuine Learning.”

Reposition the company from a traditional publisher to a comprehensive educational solutions provider.     Inspired by the concept of a “container of knowledge,” the design is straightforward yet multifaceted, featuring a clean, modern, and minimalist appearance that resonates with users.

    The earth-tone color palette combines warmth and friendliness with calmness, balance, and stability, enhancing the brand's appeal and conveying reliability, which contributed to a 25% increase in customer engagement metrics.

    The Futura font family’s crisp lines and uniform shapes create a visually appealing, contemporary branding suitable for modern audiences, leading to a 40% rise in brand recognition among targeted demographics.
